Abstract

Entero-atmospheric fistula is a rare complication which occurs following Open abdomen but spontaneous formation of EAF is quite unheard. It’s associated with high morbidity and mortality. Although there are no definite guidelines for the management but traditional methods support sepsis control and nutritional buildup in cases of secondary EAF. Spontaneous EAF however, has no preset treatment defined.
